And as support on The Proclaimers UK tour, ‘Jack’s voice blew us away’

Lockdown Sessions: ‘Totally in awe of his voice’

“The most magnificent and enigmatic of performers.” Edinburgh Spotlight Magazine – Scotland

Echo On’ is Jack Lukeman’s brand-new studio album of 11 original songs, recorded pre and post the great lockdown of 2020/21. The songs were recorded in the wilds of Ireland and the wilds of the internet with a host of great musicians from around the globe. Jack Lukeman produced the album along with Stoke musical wizard Duncan Maitland and Greek sound god Vassilis Gourgourinis, with artwork by French director Tigrane Minassian

There will be songs from his newly released album ECHO ON, some of his familiar classics

Jack Lukeman is an Irish singer-songwriter, performer, raconteur and a whole lot more besides. A platinum-selling, critically acclaimed artist in his homeland, in recent years Lukeman has devoted more of his time to winning a growing fanbase in the UK and abroad. In this regard, he has toured the UK as Special Guest on tours by artists as varied as Imelda May, Jools Holland, The Proclaimers and Neil Sedaka. Along with the rest of the world Jack’s touring had all been moved several times then shelved. Finally, he returns to live shows in the UK, he hasn’t been idle in lockdowns, having performed 30+ livestreams, all different shows having learnt songs by some of his favoured artists, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and many more. A live lockdown album came from those sessions and he came close to doubling his Facebook followers. Lukeman is a compelling, dazzling stage performer. Incorporating the theatrical and romantic sensibilities of the likes of Jacques Brel, but with genuine melodic appeal and a knack for creating his own ‘magic realist’ world that is peopled by all manner of unusual, picturesque characters – Lukeman is a rare, unusual brand of performer.

He headlined the 6,000 capacity 3Arena Dublin in November 2022.

The best music artists know that the world of the recording studio and onstage are two entirely different mediums – Lukeman’s recordings are colourful, absorbing collections, but it’s in the live environment, where his stage craft and desire to inspire really take flight. Despite the many achievements he has notched up in his lengthy career, Lukeman still has the hunger and drive to take his music to new audiences.

SUPPORT – Rebecca McRedmond

Irish singer songwriter Rebecca McRedmond has hotly tipped by Hotpress Magazine as “one of the best emerging Singer-Songwriters in Ireland and the UK”. Since first emerging in 2018, Rebecca has built up a towering reputation in the Irish and European music scenes and has worked alongside some of the countries top Artists including Mundy, Lisa Lambe, Mark Geary and is currently touring Ireland and the UK alongside renowned Irish Artist Jack Lukeman.

While still new to the scene Rebecca continues to flourish with each performance and presents with the ‘unbridled passion and moxie of a seasoned troubadour’.

Throughout her time in the music scene Rebecca has released several startling songs including “The Thorn and the Rose” and “Hush”. Written around the corners of love and loss and guided by the Artists alluring vocals with rich styles of melodic charm, these songs are sure to catch its listeners by an emotional measure.

Her latest single “That’s what they all say” is another radiant exhibit of her songwriting ability. Its classy lyrics and equally potent hooks alongside Jazzy tones weaves an alternative folk shell taking on a new authentic pop sound.

She is currently recording her debut album which is highly anticipated and set for release later this year.

Book a table for pre-concert dining

Acapela Studio provides pre-concert dining between 6.00pm and 7.30pm from our wood burning pizza oven. To view the current menu visit here.

Please purchase your concert tickets first before booking a table. We will not accept any table bookings that do not have a corresponding ticket purchase.

Then return to the event page to book your table, by selecting the date of your event, number of diners and time you require table. The times shown are the only vacancies left.  Please complete your email and phone number as this is required to ensure your table is allocated. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email and text.

If on the date you have chosen no tables are available - no times will be shown and the booking system will revert you back to todays date - PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK THE CORRECT DATE!

PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE RELIES ON THE INCOME FROM DINING TO ENSURE WE CAN BOOK ALL THE GREAT ACTS PERFORMING.

Income from the provision of pizzas is very important to the venue and if you have booked a table it is a requirement that all people sat at tables order food - a salad alternative is available to pizzas. Please do ensure that all individuals will be ordering on your table - if  this is not the case please cancel your table so others who are looking to dine can do so. Our apologies to raise this but recently we have had many tables (some very large) where less than 50% of those sat at tables have ordered food. Financially this is a real problem to the sustainability of the venue.

  • All seating at tables must purchase a pizza - so please do not book a table if everyone is not eating.
  • Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before the time slot allocated to order your pizzas prior to your booking time.
  • Tables not seated within 15 minutes of the allocated time may be lost and allocated to other audience members wishing to order pizzas.
  • If you wish to book a table for 6 or more please email info@acapela.co.uk

Please note that all of our pizzas are made fresh to order and cooked in an authentic wood-fired oven. It may take up to 45 minutes to be served during busy periods.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO BOOK A TABLE YOU CAN STILL ORDER PIZZAS ON THE NIGHT (USUALLY ON BUSY NIGHTS NO LATER THAN  7.15PM) AND WE WILL SERVE THEM TO YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE SAT IN THE VENUE - IN A PIZZA BOX.
