Disabled access and facilities
The venue has many disabled / wheelchair visitors and hope that if considering a visit to the venue you will come along and enjoy the unique Acapela experience.
The front of the building in Heol Y Pentre is accessible by wheelchair up a slight ramp. At the front door there is a small 1 metre ramp that allows access over the step into the building. Once in the building access to the music hall, bar and toilets is all on the flat on the ground floor.
There is no disabled / car parking at the venue , the best place to park is in the laybys by the shops opposite the venue (these are also bus stops – but buses run once an hour and stop in the evenings), which is 50 metres from the main door.
We recently installed new disabled toilet facilities thanks to funding from Creative Wales (Welsh Government) and these are situated very close to the music hall allowing easy access.
We do ask all wheelchair /disabled ticket holders once they have bought tickets to drop us an email that they are attending a concert so we can reserve space downstairs for you as the venue is very intimate! This is very important so that we can ensure we have space reserved for you.
At concerts there is the option to book a table in the music hall to eat before the concert (6.00pm to 7.45pm) these tables do go very fast when concerts are announced so you do need to purchase tickets and book a table as soon as possible. You can still order a pizza on arrival at the venue if you don’t have a table (before 7.15pm) and we will serve these to you wherever you are sat – in a pizza box.
Due to the limited capacity at the venue we do not provide discounted/free tickets under the Hynt or any other scheme.
