Private hire for parties and concerts in Cardiff, Wales
Acapela Studios is available for private hire for a range of events whether it be a concert for a school, band or other performers, a private party or corporate event.
Music Hall
The venue has a music hall that can accommodate 180 people seated and has a performance area and dance floor at the front of the chapel. During concerts the venue has tables available to seat approximately 60 diners, for private events the venue is able to set up the venue in numerous formations to suit the hirers needs.
The venue is also a recording studio and as a result can provide recording and filming of special events as well as providing access to a variety of bands, discos and other entertainment facilities for your special evening. For musicians the venue does have a variety of musical instruments on site including a Grand Piano! The pulpit at the front of the concert hall can be dismantled and a professional stage constructed raising performers so that the audience sat upstairs have clear sightlines.
Bar Area
The licensed bar area can seat around 30/40 people dependent on layout and serves a variety of draught beers, bottled lagers, spirits and wine. The bar area also holds our popular wood burning pizza oven.
Toilets for the audience are available via the bar area.
Access to the venue is via the path at the front of the building on Heol Y Pentre next to the posters of “what’s on” at the venue.
Car Parking
If parking is required to unload equipment please park on the street in Heol – Pentre in front of the venue. This is approx. 15m from the stage door. Do not park in the car park adjacent to the venue which is owned by the Lewis Arms as they have cameras taking number plates and you will receive a parking notice requesting £60!
