Acapela Studios – the perfect venue for location filming for TV and Film in Cardiff, Wales.

Because of the unique nature of the venue with it’s high ceiling, original wooden flooring and pulpit in the chapel, recording studio, bar area, wood burning oven and the chapel graveyard, Acapela Studios can be used  for a variety of TV and Film sets.

The venue is also located in the heart of the Welsh countryside with easy access to some incredible open spaces including the Garth Mountain – the subject of the Hugh Grant film “The Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain”!

We aim to facilitate whenever possible and are flexible on shoots; however, we kindly ask that a period of five days’ notice from enquiry to shoot date is given. Filming fees are quoted on a case by case basis, but please note that we charge a premium rate on large scale movies and commercial advertising requests.
