Bootleg Blondie (SOLD OUT)

BOOTLEG BLONDIE is the world’s No.1 official Debbie Harry & Blondie tribute band

Established in 2001 this band is the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGB in New York City and have had the honour to be thanked on Blondie’s 11th album ‘Pollinator’. In 2019, to celebrate 40 years since the release of Blondie’s iconic album Parallel Lines, Bootleg Blondie played two UK tours with Blondie’s legendary drummer Clem Burke, under the band name CBBB (Clem Burke & Bootleg Blondie). Both tours were a whirlwind of sell out shows, radio, press interviews and fab reviews, they drove nearly 5,000 miles and played to over 7,000 people, also releasing an original single ‘Enigma Soho Au Go Go’ to coincide with the tours which is available through AppleMusic, Spotify, Deezer, and itunes.

Clem Burke and Bootleg Blondie are currently writing songs for a rock opera about London.

Bootleg Blondie can be seen at all the major venues and festivals around the UK and Europe, having played the Isle of Wight Festival, the 100 Club, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, 100 Club, the Hammersmith Palais, the Electric Ballroom London, Eric’s Liverpool, Dingwall’s London and have opened for amongst others The Undertones, Slade, The Beat, Bad Manners, Sophie Ellis Baxtor, Faithless, UB40, Sister Sledge, Bootleg Beatles, Heaven 17, Toyah, Visage, Hazel O’Connor, Tony Hadley, Altered Images, Bananarama, David Essex, Nick Kershaw, The Idles, Big Country and the wonderful Chas and Dave!

Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage, wearing dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t.shirts with more holes than t.shirt! Debbie’s pride & joy is her guitar which she plays at every show, signed by all the Blondie band members.

She appeared in the Mail On Sunday Magazine and performed on two tv shows for BBC1 when she was picked out of 15,000 applicants to represent Debbie Harry on ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ hosted by Paddy McGuinness which attracted an audience of 10 million viewers!

Debbie Harris is the niece of the celebrated singer and actress Shani Wallis who is best remembered for her performance as Nancy in the Oscar winning musical film ‘Oliver’!

‘Good luck with your show!’ DEBBIE HARRY

‘Playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional’ CLEM BURKE

‘Thank you for your support’ CHRIS STEIN

Book a table for pre-concert dining

Acapela Studio provides pre-concert dining between 6.00pm and 7.30pm from our pizza oven. To view the current menu visit here.

Please purchase your concert tickets first before booking a table. We will not accept any table bookings that do not have a corresponding ticket purchase.

Then return to the event page to book your table, by selecting the date of your event, number of diners and time you require table. The times shown are the only vacancies left.  Please complete your email and phone number as this is required to ensure your table is allocated. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email and text.

If on the date you have chosen no tables are available - no times will be shown and the booking system will revert you back to todays date - PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK THE CORRECT DATE!

PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE RELIES ON THE INCOME FROM DINING TO ENSURE WE CAN BOOK ALL THE GREAT ACTS PERFORMING.

Income from the provision of pizzas is very important to the venue and if you have booked a table it is a requirement that all people sat at tables order food - a salad alternative is available to pizzas. Please do ensure that all individuals will be ordering on your table - if  this is not the case please cancel your table so others who are looking to dine can do so. Our apologies to raise this but recently we have had many tables (some very large) where less than 50% of those sat at tables have ordered food. Financially this is a real problem to the sustainability of the venue.

  • All seating at tables must purchase a pizza - so please do not book a table if everyone is not eating.
  • Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before the time slot allocated to order your pizzas prior to your booking time.
  • Tables not seated within 15 minutes of the allocated time may be lost and allocated to other audience members wishing to order pizzas.
  • If you wish to book a table for 6 or more please email info@acapela.co.uk

Please note that all of our pizzas are made fresh to order and cooked in an authentic wood-fired oven. It may take up to 45 minutes to be served during busy periods.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO BOOK A TABLE YOU CAN STILL ORDER PIZZAS ON THE NIGHT (USUALLY ON BUSY NIGHTS NO LATER THAN  7.15PM) AND WE WILL SERVE THEM TO YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE SAT IN THE VENUE - IN A PIZZA BOX.
