Forte Festival 2025

This year sees Forte School of Music celebrating their 23rd annual festival and delighted that they have chosen to return to Acapela after the success of last year’s event. The festival is a great opportunity for students to perform in front of an audience (many for the first time) and is a fun and exciting time for students to experience the environment of a professional music concert.

The festival will include 5 concerts, with performers of all ages playing a variety of instruments. Please book tickets for the concert you wish to attend – if you know someone who is performing on the day, please ask them for the concert time that they are performing in, to ensure that you get to see them play.

The venue will be videoing each concert in full, and ticket prices include a copy of the concert you purchase tickets for

Concert times 11.00am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm, 3.00pm and 4.15pm.

Car Park – VERY IMPORTANT – NEW INSTRUCTIONS
 
Please do not park in the Lewis Arms Car Park adjacent to the venue – this is for the sole use of the pubs visitors.
Double yellow lines have now been placed on the junction around the centre of the village so please check, where you can park legally. To find details of the placement of yellow lines and where we suggest you park please click here 
We would suggest parking on the road next to the open fields by Pentyrch Primary School in Bronllwyn (CF15 9QL) BUT not opposite the T Junction at Maes Y Sarn . From the venue, follow the road around past the shops and the school is on the right hand side.  If you park here this is only a 150m (3 minutes) walk to the venue via a footpath that runs directly into Field Terrace – the road opposite the venue. 
Please park with consideration for our neighbours in the streets surrounding the venue. We have received quite a few complaints recently which has resulted in us having to ask visitors to move their cars! – Please do not park especially:
  • on any kerbs or PAVEMENTS or next to any DROPPED KERBS – if your tyre is on a pavement you will be asked to move!
  • across resident’s drives – some of these have hidden gates so please check 
  • PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN PENMAES!
The area around the venue may be congested so please do park further afield from our front door, you will find it less busy!
If possible please come by taxi or consider sharing cars.

Book a table for pre-concert dining

Acapela Studio provides pre-concert dining between 6.00pm and 7.30pm from our pizza oven. To view the current menu visit here.

Please purchase your concert tickets first before booking a table. We will not accept any table bookings that do not have a corresponding ticket purchase.

Then return to the event page to book your table, by selecting the date of your event, number of diners and time you require table. The times shown are the only vacancies left.  Please complete your email and phone number as this is required to ensure your table is allocated. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email and text.

If on the date you have chosen no tables are available - no times will be shown and the booking system will revert you back to todays date - PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK THE CORRECT DATE!

PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE RELIES ON THE INCOME FROM DINING TO ENSURE WE CAN BOOK ALL THE GREAT ACTS PERFORMING.

Income from the provision of pizzas is very important to the venue and if you have booked a table it is a requirement that all people sat at tables order food - a salad alternative is available to pizzas. Please do ensure that all individuals will be ordering on your table - if  this is not the case please cancel your table so others who are looking to dine can do so. Our apologies to raise this but recently we have had many tables (some very large) where less than 50% of those sat at tables have ordered food. Financially this is a real problem to the sustainability of the venue. 

  • All seating at tables must purchase a pizza - so please do not book a table if everyone is not eating.
  • Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before the time slot allocated to order your pizzas prior to your booking time.
  • Tables not seated within 15 minutes of the allocated time may be lost and allocated to other audience members wishing to order pizzas.

Please note that all of our pizzas are made fresh to order. It may take up to 45 minutes to be served during busy periods.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO BOOK A TABLE YOU CAN STILL ORDER PIZZAS ON THE NIGHT (USUALLY ON BUSY NIGHTS NO LATER THAN  7.15PM) AND WE WILL SERVE THEM TO YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE SAT IN THE VENUE - IN A PIZZA BOX.
