The Pentyrch Scarecrow Trail – Mick “Scarecrow” Jagger – GIMME PIZZA!

Mick “scarecrow” Jagger supports Acapela Pizza Campaign!

Please do drive carefully as you turn past Acapela – we have already noticed many drivers have been amazed by the Mick Jagger likeness of our “Scarecrow” entry in this years competition!

We’ve been closed for 6 months now and thought the scarecrow event would allow our creative talents to flourish! We think we may stick to making music in future!

Anyway thanks to Emma and Anwyn for all there hard work – apparently quite a few bottles of prosecco were involved in the making of “Mick” which explains his appearance somewhat!

Acapela plays a large part in the social calendar of the Pentyrch community and we thought it would be a great idea to this year become involved with the Scarecrow Trail, which will see over 35 scarecrows on display over half term around the village – raising funds again for the Memorial Park in Pentyrch. Do take part in the scarecrow trail (maps are available online on the Pentyrch Community Group – Phil Jones) and vote for your favourite scarecrow!!!

So enjoy the scarecrow trail and don’t forget to book your pizzas to enjoy afterwards (so you don’t fade away!) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout lockdown and UFN!

Finally we couldn’t resist The Gimme Pizza – I’m going to fade away promotion…..if only to include the classic video below of Gimme Shelter, one of the Rolling Stones classic hits! (Did you see what we did there!) . Enjoy.
