Some of our favourite Acapela memories

We cannot bring you new music at present but we thought we would share with you some of the bands and artists who have graced the Acapela stage in the last few years……

MEMORY N0.6 – TOM ROBINSON

We had been trying to convince Tom to come and play at Acapela for several years and last year we finally  got lucky as Tom’s agent was looking for an intimate venue for Tom to play before a major festival the following day.

Well if you were there you know that Tom played a brilliant set – mainly solo – which saw a rapturous standing ovation. Playing all his hits – Listen to the Radio, 2,4,6,8 Motorway, War Baby and many more it was great to see this iconic music maestro in action!

Afterwards Tom told us how much he loved his time at Acapela and said it was a shame that we only did acoustic sets! After explaining we do full bands as well he asked whether he could come back again with his band!

Well we had to think (for the total of about 2 seconds) and said ABSOLUTELY YES!
The result is of course TOM is playing with his band in 2021 for TWO NIGHTS!
