Los Pacaminos feat. Paul Young 24th April 2020 RESCHEDULED DATE to Friday 18th December 2020

los pacaminos paul young in concert CardiffThe Los Pacaminos concert due to be held on the 24th April has now been rescheduled to Friday 18th December 2020 (Click here for details). We have transferred all tickets to this new date and if you have booked a table this has also been transferred for you to the new date (please note all tables are gone so we will not be accepting additional requests for tables).
If you are unable to make this date you need to email info@13.41.157.201 by the 8th April 2020 to request a refund – any requests to cancel tickets after this time will not be accepted and our usual no refund ticket policy will be strictly applied.
If you are unable to attend, please do think about buying a ticket for another gig with your refund!

Rescheduled Events – NEW DATES CONFIRMED

Acapela Studio concerts in 2020After extensive negotiations with all artists who we have at present  unfortunately had to cancel, we are delighted to announce that the majority have already agreed new dates to return to Acapela. Our thanks to them all for their generosity and cooperation in rescheduling so that the venue and our audience can look forward to these events in the future…when business resumes!

Here are the new dates for rescheduled concerts – please note due to some cancellations some concerts that were sold out do have a few tickets that have gone back on sale:

We have contacted all ticket holders informing them of the new dates and offering a full refund if they cannot make the rescheduled concerts – requests for refunds must be received by 1st April 2020. If any concert is not held all ticket monies will be refunded. After this date our normal no ticket refund policy applies.

All requests for refunds have been immediately processed.

Acapela Studio – looking forward to the future

We have received a few enquiries expressing concern with regard to the impact of Coronavirus on the long term future of the venue – it’s lovely to know that Acapela plays an important part in the lives of our loyal audience. We would like to assure everyone that the venue is financially very well managed and whilst the current situation is certainly not welcomed we are still looking forward to the future.

We had kept August free of events for us to redecorate the venue so now we are looking to transfer as many cancelled events to August and have brought forward the decorating – in this way the short term impact will be negligible with the concerts now being conducted later in the year.

Finally just to confirm all ticket monies are held in a separate bank account from the Acapela Studio current accounts in order that artist fees are always available and also so that at anytime a concert is cancelled the monies are available to refund ticket holders immediately.

All the above allows ticket buyers to be confident that whether a concert is cancelled or rescheduled on a date you cannot make you will receive a refund. We continue to book new acts for you to enjoy in the future, so please do ensure you book your tickets for these new events so you don’t miss out.

Coronavirus – Acapela temporary closure

Regretably after yesterdays announcement by the Government that people should avoid bars, clubs, restaurants and theatres we have decided that we have no alternative but to close the venue until further notice. As a result as of today, all events up to and including April 16th have been postponed. We will review the situation again nearer this time and consider the advice on mass gatherings with a view to reopening.

As you can imagine this closure is a major disappointment to the venue and we have been working hard over the last 24 hrs to contact artists to reschedule all the events during this period to a later date in 2020.  You will understand the impact on the venue financially – as with all businesses big and small – is devastating especially at a time when we have invested heavily in air conditioning and other improvements at the venue.
We have been inundated with emails and phone calls over the last 24 hours requesting information about the impact of the mass gathering advice on Acapela Studio and we have been touched by the encouragement and kind words offered – it really is heartwarming to know so many of you care about the future of the venue. Our apologies that we have not answered these emails but as you will understand we have been extremely busy.
Ticket holders for each event will receive a separate email hopefully over the next 48hrs providing information on any rescheduled dates. Please do not send in requests for refunds/ cancellation of tickets until such time as you receive the email about the event for which you hold tickets. We will not be able to respond to any requests until we have finalised each event.
We would also like to thank all of the Acapela staff who have as always been very supportive and enthusiastic despite the difficult circumstances we have faced over the last few weeks. We hope that it will not be long before they are able to return to Acapela and successfully bring to you all the wonderful events that we know you all enjoy so much.
We should also thank all the artists we have spoken to today. Every single one of them has been amazingly supportive and expressed how much they love and admire the venue and were very keen to assist in anyway they could.

Over the last two weeks we have seen a fall in ticket sales obviously because of the uncertainty we all face. Rest assured if an event does not go ahead then tickets will be refunded.

Finally we would like to thank you for your support and hope that you all remain in good health at this difficult time.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Acapela is actively monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and we are taking additional precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our audience, staff and artists – this remains our priority.

All members of the Acapela team have been briefed on what actions to take, as per the Government guidance, to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. We are taking the following actions to keep everyone safe:

  • Our cleaning teams have been operating throughout the week cleaning and disinfecting all areas. The cleaning products used are hospital standard.
  • We have added additional signage to create more awareness for everyone to wash their hands and to cover their mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and sneezing and dispose of the tissue in a bin after use.
If you are suffering from any symptoms no matter how mild, please stay at home to recover. If you are a returning traveller please follow the Government advice.

Acapela is open for concerts any change to this will be immediately informed to ticketholders.
